This is a study of some of the relics of the slate mining industry in North Wales, in particular around Blaenau Ffestiniog and Dinorwic. Although a few quarries still operate in the area, this once great industry is now sadly in decline.

Inside a derelict slate splitting mill, workmens' tools and rusting machinery, hastily abandoned when the quarry shut down, now lie eerily quiet.
